Our Horizontal Drilling Machine is best suited for subversive piping works where in space is confined and sourcing loads of people over. It provides a clean, safe drill with powerfull push and pull force. This makes it an intelligent pick for water, gas, fiber and cable work.
It is capable of thrust and pullback force of 55 kN, making it ideal for hard ground. When not under load it moves at 5 meters per minute. It has 1,500 Nm of max torque, and its spindle can go up to 130 rpm. These numbers provide a good drilling action.
This model is adapted for Ø50 mm rods, 500 mm in length. Pits: 60 mm The pilot hole and you can drill to a depth of 50 m, depending on the type of soil. Minimum bend radius is 36 meters. You can work em pipe up to a maximum size of 240 mm in soft ground when using upsizing tools.
The machine is small and placeable. Its dimensions as to transport settings are as follows: 1450 x 650 x 750 mm. In operational mode it measures 1450mm x 900mm x 1450 mm. The total weight is 390kg so you can easily tow it with a small vehicle.
An hydraulic system with 50/60L/min flow and max 250 bar pressure is required. A slurry pump, for mixing and deli- vering drilling fluid may also be employed.
This machine provides consistent power, easy setup and consistent job results. It is an excellent choice for mobile HDD crews that don’t need all the bells and whistles, but want a rugged everyday field sledge.
